Mandrels are mounted by either precision machined 4-bolt flange or collet
chuck/draw bar system. Score cutter assemblies are easily positioned
where needed on the dovetail mounting bar and locked in place. For the
basic manual cut system the operator depresses a foot pedal which activates
core rotation and begins the cut cycle. Release of the foot pedal
ceases cutting operation, retracts all tooling and allows operator stripping
of the cut pieces. Pneumatic cutting is by dual palm buttons adding a
desirable safety feature while minimizing operator fatigue.
